Conor Murphy

Conor Murphy has an extensive work experience in various roles, starting from their current position as a Project Manager at Swirltex Inc. where they specialize in industrial waste water products and solutions. Prior to this, Conor worked at Panelflex as a Project Manager, collaborating with clients throughout the project lifecycle and providing schedule and quality management.

Before that, they served at Ovivo as a Project Manager/Electrical Designer and later transitioned into the role of Quality Management System Manager. In these positions, Conor managed projects, developed project execution plans, maintained project schedules, and implemented ISO 9001 QMS system within the company.

Conor also worked at Trotter and Morton as a Foreman Service Electrician, managing construction jobs and providing service calls and troubleshooting for various electrical installations. Additionally, they served as a Foreman Electrician at Cal-Tech Electrical Services Inc. where they led a team and managed mechanical controls installations.

Conor's early career includes a role as a Maintenance Electrician at Autosystems Manufacturing Inc., where they performed troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on various machinery and systems, including performing PLC programming and troubleshooting.

Conor Murphy has a diverse education history. In 2002, they attended Humber College and completed an Industrial Electrician Certificate in Electrical, which they pursued until 2006. Later, in 2011, Conor enrolled at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) and obtained a Master Electrician degree. Their educational journey continued in 2015, when they pursued a Certificate in Project Management from SAIT.

Aside from their academic pursuits, Conor also acquired additional certifications. In December 2011, they became a Certified Master Electrician (CME) through the Electrical Contractors Association of Alberta. Furthermore, in October 2019, Conor earned an Electrical Inspector Group A certification from the Safety Codes Council in Alberta.
