With 8 million private users and over 300 000 connected companies, Swish is the most popular mobile payment service in Sweden. The work of developing Swish started as a collaboration between six of Sweden's largest banks. Together, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Länsförsäkringar, Nordea, SEB and Swedbank and Sparbankerna own Getswish AB, and more banks have joined. The banks are responsible for designing offers, conditions and any fees for Swish to their customers.
