Ryan Whiley

Ryan Whiley has a varied work experience. In 2011, they founded Whiley Websites, where they developed and maintained several websites for law firms and other companies across Southern California. Ryan coded entirely in PHP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at Social Intelligence Corp as a Social Media Analyst. In this role, they worked with the most trusted and largest provider of social media reports, tools and data to commercial and Government organizations. In 2013, they also took on a Programming Intern role at GIS4C, where they built a lightweight JavaScript application that allowed companies to view a geographical representation of their data. Ryan worked primarily with JavaScript, ESRI's ArcGIS JavaScript API, HTML and CSS. From 2015 to present, they have been the Lead Engineer at Swish Analytics, an industry leading start-up in predictive sports analytics, with clients including DraftKings, New York Rangers and Los Angeles Dodgers. During their time at Swish Analytics, they have lead all development that their thousands of users interact with, including building and maintaining their website along with building out both of their apps.

Ryan Whiley earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from UC Santa Barbara between 2013 and 2014.
