Greg Schmidt has extensive work experience in the field of business analytics and marketing research. Greg started their career at Management Science Associates, Inc. in 2000, initially working as a Senior Marketing Research Manager and later becoming a Marketing Research Director. During their time there, they led various strategic projects for senior executives, including an Optimal Item Assortment solution that increased retailer category profits by 12% and a New Product Introduction study that improved speed-to-shelf by 50%. Greg also played a key role in constructing the division's business plan and collaborating with Human Resources to update position descriptions and job titles. In 2007, Greg joined Swisher as the Senior Director of Business Analytics, where they applied their analytical proficiency and strategic leadership to answer critical business questions and manage the Corporate Analytics, Modeling & Forecasting, and Consumer Insights department teams. Recently, they were promoted to Vice President of Business Analytics.
Greg Schmidt earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Quantitative Business Analysis from Penn State University, which they attended from 1989 to 1993. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing from 1995 to 1996.
