For 30 years, the STE has been the professional association of wood engineers and specialists who deal with and work with the material wood.
The more than 300 members of the STE have a decisive influence on the wood industry as managers at all levels: In planning and development, education, research, trade, marketing and in timber construction and furniture making.
The STE is an SIA professional association, within the professional group of civil engineering BGI and an STV professional group. In the research field, the STE works closely with S-WIN, BFH, Lignum, etc..
