Markus Rohrer

Markus Rohrer is an experienced Airline Captain at Swiss International Air Lines AG, where they have served since 2007, working on the Airbus A320 family and taking on roles such as Line Training Captain and Simulator Instructor. Prior to this, Markus held positions as an Airline Pilot with Austrian Airlines and Hapag-Lloyd Flug, and contributed to freelance sailing and motorboat instruction. They began their career in journalism with St. Galler Tagblatt and also gained engineering experience as a trainee with Rhätische Bahn AG. Markus holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich and completed their pilot training at Swissair Aviation School.
