Michael Schiess

Michael Schiess possesses extensive experience in hospitality and management, currently serving as Head of Lounges Switzerland at Swiss International Air Lines since April 2018, where responsibilities include operational management and strategic planning. In addition to overseeing lounge operations, Michael is the owner of Buelacherweine.ch, managing a vineyard and its marketing. Previous roles include guest lecturer at EHL Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality, press and information officer in the Swiss Army, and positions in various hospitality and business management roles, including operating director at Swissasia Trading Ltd and general manager at Scubamart. Michael holds degrees in hospitality management and sommelier certification from recognized Swiss institutions.
