Ron Abegglen

Ron Abegglen is an accomplished professional in public affairs and political advocacy, currently serving as Director of Public Affairs and Advisor to the CEO at Swiss International Air Lines since July 2010. In this role, Ron Abegglen advises the Management Board on political issues and oversees regulatory affairs, policy advocacy towards authorities in Switzerland, the European Union, and the United States. Prior to joining Swiss International Air Lines, Ron Abegglen was a Research Fellow at the University of Bern's Institute for European and International Economic Law, where responsibilities included conducting research on public international law and instructing courses on European Law. Additionally, Ron Abegglen served as Secretary General of the Neue Europäische Bewegung Schweiz, managing the non-profit organization's operations, policy advocacy, political communication, and fundraising efforts. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in International Economic Law and a Bachelor's degree in Law, both from the University of Bern.
