Simon Degelo

Simon Degelo is a current Policy Advisor focused on the right to seeds and biodiversity at SWISSAID. They have held several roles in agricultural development and journalism, including positions as a Delegate for agriculture in Haiti at Caritas Schweiz and a Thematic Advisor for Agroecology at Fastenopfer. Simon's educational background includes an MSc in Plant Biology and a BSc in Environmental Science from Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich. They have also gained diverse experience as a journalist and project manager in various organizations throughout their career.
