Markus Hug

Markus Hug is an experienced professional in the field of cloud platforms and infrastructure, currently serving as Unit Lead and Head of Cloud Software & Solutions at Swisscom since October 2014. With a strong background in project management and agile methodologies, Markus has successfully led the end-to-end delivery of Swisscom's Enterprise Cloud platforms, focusing on IaaS/PaaS. Prior to this, Markus held various roles at Cisco Systems and had a significant tenure at Swisscom, where leadership of IT projects for new services was key. Markus's earlier experience spans software engineering and project management in several companies, including Opacc Software AG and Bluewin AG. Educational credentials include a CAS in Agile Leadership from ZHAW, a BSc in Business Administration from Kalaidos, and an MSc in Electrical Engineering from FHNW.
