Sonja Studer

Sonja Studer is the Head of Education and a member of the Executive Board at Swissmem. With a background in environmental science, they earned a Master's Degree and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Soil Microbiology from Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich. Sonja has served as a Member of the Board at both Cleantech Switzerland and Energieagentur der Wirtschaft, and previously held the position of Senior Project Officer at The University of Hong Kong. They also led energy policy as Head at Swissmem and managed Fuels and Environment at the Swiss Petroleum Association. Currently, Sonja is pursuing a CAS in strategic leadership in organizations at ZHAW IAP.
