Kirk Calhoun serves as the Director of Commissioning at Switch since March 2025, overseeing the commissioning program for the company. Prior to this role, Calhoun held several positions at CAI from June 2016 to March 2025, including Director of Operations for Data Center Commissioning in the Americas, where responsibilities included managing project budgets, staffing, business development, and reporting for the Mountain States region, as well as serving as the US West Region Commissioning Manager. Previous experience includes working as an Automation Engineer at Commissioning Agents, Inc. from August 2011 to March 2014 and as a Process Programmer/Electrician at Holcim Inc. from 1997 to August 2011. Calhoun earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a focus on Software Engineering from Colorado Technical University.
