Sital Uprety

Sital Uprety is a Water and Environmental Engineer with over eight years of experience in managing large water and sanitation projects and conducting research in the field. They currently serve as a scientist at the Department of Sanitation, Water and Solid Waste for Development (Sandec) with the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology (Eawag), while also providing consulting services on critical WASH issues. Sital holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri and both an MS and PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois. Throughout their career, they have worked with various organizations, including the World Health Organization and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, and have contributed to significant international WASH projects in developing countries.
