Eugene Marsh has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Eugene began their career as a Senior Scientist at Charles Evans & Assoc in 1990 and worked there until 1995. Eugene then joined Micron Technology as a Senior Engineer and remained with the company for almost 20 years until 2014. After that, Eugene worked at Twist Bioscience as a Senior Engineer for six years. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Surface Chemistry and Co-founder at Switchback Systems, where they specialize in surface deposition techniques and surface functionalization for DNA attachment/rejection. Eugene has expertise in thin-film deposition using ALD and CVD techniques.
Eugene Marsh received their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Washington State University in 1984. Eugene then went on to complete their Ph.D. in Chemistry at UC Santa Barbara from 1985 to 1989.
