Alexandra Smith is a data scientist and ecological modeler with experience in marine protected area management, community outreach, and sustainable development. Previously, they served as a fisheries analyst at the Sustainable Fisheries Group, where they collected data and conducted assessments on small-scale fisheries. Alexandra also worked at the Hopkins Marine Station of Stanford University as a project manager and researcher, coordinating fieldwork and managing extensive data sets. Currently, as a senior data scientist at Switchbox, they focus on advancing climate policy through statistical analysis and reporting.
