Matthew Winterbottom

Matthew Winterbottom is an experienced R&D Manager at Assaynet Inc. since November 2020 and has been with Opengear since July 2014, holding various roles including Software Engineer, Scrum Master, and Senior Software Engineer. Prior to Opengear, Matthew worked as an Engineer at Roke Manor Research from October 2010 to June 2014. Matthew possesses extensive expertise in porting Linux to embedded platforms, writing device drivers, and developing custom GUI applications. Additionally, Matthew has experience in both platform and application-level development for Android, along with proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and Java. Matthew holds a Master of Engineering degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Warwick, obtained in 2010.
