Michael Poynton

Michael Poynton has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. From 2012 to 2019, they worked at Anheuser-Busch InBev, where they held several roles. As the Project Management Office UK Lead, they were responsible for delivering critical business initiatives and improving commercial performance. Michael also served as a Packaging Process Engineer, leading continuous improvement projects and implementing cost-saving measures. Additionally, they worked as a First Line Manager, overseeing a team of direct and dotted line reports in packaging operations. In 2012, they participated in the Functional Supply Trainee graduate program, gaining valuable experience in various brewery projects.

In 2020, Poynton founded Poynton Consulting Ltd and worked as a Senior Project Manager for a brief period. Michael then transitioned to Switchee, where they took on the role of Senior Operations Manager. In this capacity, they developed operational strategies, facilitated product launches, and supported Switchee's growth. Michael currently serves as the Head of Operations, leading the company's growth and transformation in supply chain robustness and technical support.

Michael Poynton completed their A-Levels at Runshaw College from 2006 to 2008. During this time, they studied Maths, Physics, Biology, Physical Education, and General Studies. Following this, they pursued a Masters degree in Civil Engineering at The University of Manchester from 2008 to 2012.
