Frontend Engineer at Switcho

Cesare Cocito has had a long and varied career in web design and frontend development. In 2012, they began working as a freelance web designer and frontend developer, providing advice and feasibility studies on cross-browser compatibility of ongoing projects and carrying out activities of digital art direction designing website layouts, DEM and banners for small and medium companies. Later that year, they began working at Meloria Comunicazione as a web designer and frontend developer, where they were in charge of building websites through developing Wordpress themes and plugins from scratches, even in scenarios of customer database integration. In 2010, they worked at Dartway Interactive as a trainee and collaborator web designer and frontend developer, where they collaborated with a Digital Adv agency for the production of HTML+CSS templates and DOM manipulation based web animation.

In 2017, Cesare Cocito began working at Wyscout as a frontend developer, where they developed a single page web app using React and Flux (Redux) to create and edit printable rich text documents with ambitious design needs. Cesare also worked at sailsquare as a frontend developer, where they were in charge of the maintenance and reorganization of front end stack, which formerly included a Vue.js application. In 2018, they worked at Scuola Internazionale di Comics Torino as a teacher. In 2019, they began working at MailUp as a senior frontend engineer, where they carried on the activity of product porting from AngularJs to React. In 2021, they began working at Modo | we code design as a senior developer, where they worked on many clients projects, mostly written in React. Finally, in 2022, they began working at Switcho as a frontend engineer.

Cesare Cocito received a Laurea in Disegno Industriale from the Università degli Studi di Genova in 2011, after attending from 2006-2011. Cesare also obtained a Diploma from Liceo Scientifico from 2001-2006. In addition, they have obtained certifications from Code School for Shaping up with Angular.js in June 2014, ES2015: The Shape of JavaScript to Come, and Powering Up With React.
