Daniel Wainer

Daniel Wainer is a bioinformatics professional with a Master of Science degree from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, graduating in 2022 with a notable academic performance. Wainer's experience spans various roles in research and data engineering, including positions as a Research Assistant at Genetika+ and the Sagol School of Neuroscience, where responsibilities included neuronal and stem cell culture handling and gene editing using CRISPR. As a Data Analyst at the Edmond and Lily Safra Center for Brain Sciences, analytical skills in bulk and single-cell RNA sequencing were applied using programming languages such as Bash and R. At 4omix, Wainer developed a Dockerized web application for visualizing bulk RNA gene expression, and later served as a Data Engineer and subsequently a Lead Data Engineer at QRGenetics, focusing on ETL data pipelines, cloud architecture, and database design. Currently, Wainer works as an Integration Engineer at SwitchThink Solutions.
