Dave Payne has a long and varied work experience. dave started their career in 2002 as the Director of Wi-Fi Strategy and Director of Corporate Development at Earthlink. In 2007, they co-founded and served as the CEO and Board Member of Scoutmob, an online-to-offline new media company. In 2014, they co-founded Switchyards Downtown Club, a neighborhood work club. From 2015 to 2018, they served as an advisor for Hux, Saige, Split, and Gather Technologies. In 2016, they were the Managing Director, Entrepreneur In Residence, and Mentor for Techstars, and an Advisor for Offline Media Inc. and Venture Atlanta Conference. dave is proud to have mentored startups such as Splitty Travel, Fitspot, UCIC, 2ULaundry, Bloveit, Landing Lion, CaribShopper & PadSplit.

Dave Payne received their Bachelor of Science degree from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business in 1994.
