Eric Johnson is a seasoned software engineering leader with extensive experience in managing large teams and driving technological innovation within the retail and eCommerce sectors. Currently serving as Director of Software Engineering at SWIVEL since April 2024 and as an Independent Artist at Canvas Pets since December 2023, Eric previously held pivotal roles at H-E-B, including Director of Software Engineering for Store Experience, where leadership spanned over 100 professionals, and Senior Manager of Software Engineering for Inventory & Location Management. Eric's earlier career at Rackspace included various managerial positions that contributed to significant improvements in web performance and the implementation of advanced marketing technologies. Eric's expertise encompasses digital transformation, application development, and enhancing user experiences, supported by a solid educational foundation in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Northeast Community College and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
