Christopher W. Ryan

Christopher W. Ryan, MD, is an accomplished physician and oncology expert witness with extensive experience in academia and cancer research. Currently self-employed in this role since May 2002, Christopher has held significant academic positions at Oregon Health and Science University, where tenure as Associate Professor of Medicine was followed by promotion to Professor of Medicine since July 2014. Additionally, Christopher serves as Executive Officer for the SWOG Cancer Research Network since 2013. Prior experience includes an instructor and assistant professor role at the University of Chicago from July 2000 to June 2002. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from State University of New York Upstate Medical University, a residency in Internal Medicine from the University of Chicago, and a fellowship in Hematology & Oncology from the University of Chicago. A Bachelor's degree was earned at Cornell University.
