Sapna Patel

Sapna Patel is currently the Dr. William Robinson Endowed Chair in Cancer Research, Director of Cutaneous Oncology, and Professor of Medicine and Ophthalmology at the University of Colorado. Since 2021, they have served as the Chair of the SWOG Melanoma Committee. Previously, they worked as a Melanoma Oncologist Clinical Investigator and Director of Online Media at MD Anderson Cancer Center from 2011 to 2024. Sapna Patel completed their Doctor of Medicine degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and has undergone extensive training, including a fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
