Grace Bottum

Grace Bottum is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at Swoop Search, where Grace is involved in designing and implementing a horizontally scaled system using technologies such as kubernetes, docker, lucene, solr, spark, relational databases, and node. Prior to this role, Grace worked as a Research Assistant at the Evolutionary Genomics Laboratory, where Grace conducted behavioral studies at the organismal level and worked on molecular research using methods such as SDS-PAGE and gel electrophoresis. Grace obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Marine Science, Biology, and Chemistry from the University of Miami in 2015.
