Jake Glover

Jake Glover's work experience begins with their current position as the Vice President of Healthcare Strategy at Sworkit Health, a consumer digital fitness brand. Jake joined the company in April 2022 to help transition their fitness services to employers and managed health care markets.

Prior to their current role, Jake served as the Chief Design Officer at Blue Zones from April 2019 to April 2022.

From 2015 to 2019, Jake held the position of Vice President of Product and Healthcare Strategy at The Biggest Loser Resort. In these positions, they analyzed market trends, made service recommendations to health plan members, and drove content and revenue generation for AHIP's products.

Before AHIP, Jake worked at Polar Electro Oy as a Product and Channel Expert from August 2007 to March 2009. Jake increased B2B revenue and product utilization by working with key clients in universities, health clubs, and hospitals. Jake also facilitated data collection and reporting for corporate wellness initiatives and created training tools for national health clubs.

Finally, Jake began their career as a Grant Writer at Youth Fitness and Community Grants from May 2001 to February 2009. During this time, they were involved in over 50 health initiatives, writing 37 grant programs to promote community wellness.

Jake Glover has a diverse education history. Jake started their academic journey in 1997 at Hampden-Sydney College, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General for two years. Following this, from 1999 to 2002, they attended Virginia Commonwealth University, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Community Health and Preventive Medicine.

In 2002, Jake continued their education at Virginia Commonwealth University, this time focusing on Health and Physical Education/Fitness. Jake completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in this field in 2003.

To further advance their knowledge and expertise, Jake pursued a Master's Degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness. From 2006 to 2007, they attended the University of Northern Iowa to achieve this goal.
