Austen's earlier experience at Robinson Fresh spanned from August 2012 to December 2018, starting as Sourcing Representative and progressing to Assistant Category Manager and Category Manager, where strategic planning facilitated $75 million in annual sales for a leading watermelon brand. The professional journey began with an internship at the US Congress in 2011. Austen earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Spanish from the University of California, Davis, and also studied at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
