Jim Kapsis

Jim Kapsis serves as a Board Member at SWTCH since June 2024 and is the Founder and CEO of The Ad Hoc Group, a position held since October 2016. With a focus on advising, Jim has been involved with Dandelion (Home Geothermal) since April 2019, Urbint from February 2018 to January 2023, Greenlots from April 2018 to December 2019, Bloomberg Associates from December 2017 to October 2018, and NAUTO from October 2017 to July 2018. Jim was also a Senior Advisor at Sidewalk Labs from November 2016 to February 2018 and an Advisor to Flatiron Health from October 2016 to April 2017. Additionally, Jim co-hosted the Technopolis Podcast at CityLab from January 2019 to September 2023, focusing on the impact of technology on urban environments. Educationally, Jim holds a Master's degree in Public Policy and International Relations from Princeton University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Haverford College.
