Mike Mulqueen has over 18 years of experience in the energy and planning sectors. Mike began their career in 2003 as a Planning Assistant for the City of Hamilton, working on Downtown Renewal. In 2005, they moved to the City of Toronto, where they held various roles over the next six years, including Assistant Planner - Environmental Planning, Planner - Zoning Bylaw Harmonization, and Senior Environmental Planner. In 2011, they began working at Toronto Hydro as a Lead, CDM Business Development, where they managed energy conservation and key account engagement strategies, exceeded targets every year, and grew annual savings from the multi-family sector by 300% over 3 years. Mike also coached, managed, and developed more than 20 professional engineers, energy managers and efficiency sales professionals. In 2019, they joined Parity Inc. as SVP Sales and Business Development. Currently, they are the Director - Commercial Partnerships at SWTCH, where they focus on building new commercial partnerships and strengthening existing relationships to ensure successful deployments and shared revenue growth.

Mike Mulqueen completed a Combined Honours Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Economics from McMaster University in 2002. Mike then went on to obtain a Master of Urban Planning from McGill University in 2004, with a field of study in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning.
