At Rocket Internet SE, Mostafa Kandil was the Head of Operations. Mostafa led 5 teams of 60-70 people across Website Content, Vendor Services, Vendor Compliance, Customer Care and the Call Center. Mostafa also spearhead business unit profitability and expenses reduction targets through order taking process automation and more efficient call center capacity planning. As a result, they achieved a 370% increase in efficiency and a potential annual cost saving of EGP 720 K.

Mostafa Kandil has a proven track record of increasing traffic conversion and enhancing end user satisfaction. Mostafa has also successfully decreased lost orders from 6% to 1.9%. As a result of their efforts, the company has seen an annual increase in GMV by more than EGP 5 M.

Mostafa Kandil has a Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum and Energy Engineering from The American University in Cairo and a Bachelor's Degree from SUNY New Paltz.
