Jay Prasad

Jay Prasad has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jay currently holds the position of Vice President, Personal Lines at Swyfft since July 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Bankers Insurance Group as Vice President, Personal Lines Insurance from August 2016 to July 2018 where they were responsible for the profitability and growth of homeowners insurance vertical.

Before joining Bankers Insurance Group, Jay gained significant experience in the insurance industry at Insurance House. During their tenure there, they held several roles including Director of Product Development and Underwriting from January 2015 to August 2016, Senior Product Manager from July 2013 to December 2014, Product Manager from March 2012 to June 2013, and Senior Product Analyst from July 2010 to February 2012.

Jay's early career includes roles at Thomson Reuters as a Strategy and Marketing Intern in the Healthcare & Science division from June 2009 to September 2009, and at Emory University where they served as an MBA Intern in Strategy and Business Plan Development at Emory-Georgia Tech Predictive Health Institute from January 2009 to May 2009.

Jay also completed their MBA degree from Emory University Goizueta Business School from August 2007 to May 2009. Jay gained valuable experience in operations during an internship at BWA Water Additives in 2008.

Prior to their MBA, Jay worked for Tata Consultancy Services as a Project Lead / Information Technology Analyst from September 2001 to July 2007.

Jay Prasad completed an MBA in Strategy, Marketing, and Finance from Emory University - Goizueta Business School from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Honors) from the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, between 1997 and 2001.
