Dev Sherlock is a seasoned music industry professional with extensive experience that spans roles in programming, talent relations, and songwriting supervision. Currently serving as Senior Programmer for the SXSW Music Festival since 2018, Dev collaborates with a diverse range of stakeholders to curate one of the world's leading music events. Previous achievements include advising for HALA, LLC, and working as Music Supervisor for the feature film The Witch Files. As Head of Music & Industry Relations for The Hype Machine from 2009 to 2017, Dev developed innovative strategies for music discovery. Dev's background includes substantial contributions to major publications such as Rolling Stone and Musician Magazine, as well as entrepreneurial experience as the founder of Porcupine Media, Inc. Dev's career began with talent relations at iHeartMedia and has been shaped by a degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Maine.
