Jon Roberts

Jon Roberts is an experienced software engineer with a focus on web applications and user interface design. Currently serving as Lead Software Engineer at SXSW since March 2022, Jon previously held a similar position at SXSW from October 2012 to March 2021. Jon's expertise includes implementing single-sign-on systems, enhancing secure document storage, and facilitating cloud migration at Notarize as a Senior Software Engineer. As an independent contractor, Jon developed web applications for various clients, utilizing Ruby on Rails. Earlier career highlights include PHP development at Pixeldust Interactive and extensive web design work at Digital Cheetah, where over 60 sites were created for notable organizations. Jon holds a BFA in Computer Art from Savannah College of Art and Design.
