Thomas Reid

Thomas Reid is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in software development, artificial intelligence, and thermodynamics engineering. Currently serving as the CTO at Sycodal since April 2022, Thomas leads research and development projects focused on software systems and AI while overseeing business strategy and cloud-based solutions. Prior to this role, Thomas had a successful tenure at Bombardier from September 2018 to April 2022, where contributions spanned architecture and technical ownership of the Enterprise data platform and AI solutions, as well as engagement strategies for advanced technology in aerospace. Previous experience includes significant roles in thermal sciences and computational fluid dynamics at Assystem and Newmerical Technologies International, along with earlier specialization in CFD at Biothermica Technologies. Thomas holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, with a concentration in aeronautics.
