Lorena P's work experience starts in 2005 as a Research & Teaching Assistant at Deggendorf Institute of Technology. Lorena then worked at Allianz SE as a Group Development & Economic Researcher and also collaborated with Prof. Dr. Markku Wilenius in Group Strategy. Afterwards, they became a Strategy / Management Consultant at BearingPoint (ex KPMG) in Post Merger Integration FS. Lorena P then served as the Director of Strategy & Business Development at Morningstar, where they focused on market trends, innovation, and product development. Lorena then joined Octopus Investments as the Director of Multi Manager & Small Companies Investments. Lorena P also held guest lecturer positions at the University of Oxford, Cornell University, and Deggendorf Institute of Technology. Currently, they are the Founder & CEO of syd™ (iamYiam Ltd & iamYiam Foundation), leading a team to enhance the health and quality of life for 1 billion people by 2025.

Lorena P's education history includes several degrees and certifications. In 2005, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in International Management from Deggendorf Institute of Technology, with a specialization in Investment Banking. Lorena also holds a Diploma in Economics (Finance and Banking) from West University of Timisoara, which they completed from 2003 to 2007.

Lorena P pursued further education in business and received an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Columbia Business School from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, during the same period, they completed a Joint Global Executive MBA program at London Business School, focusing on Global Executive MBA in the Americas and Europe.

In 2023, Lorena P enrolled in the Owner President Program at Harvard University, which they completed in 2025.

Lorena also participated in a Global Executive Program at Singularity University @NASA / Palo Alto from 2019 to 2020, learning from notable experts Ray Kurzweil and Peter Diamandis.

In terms of certifications, Lorena P obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder designation from the CFA Institute in September 2005.

Furthermore, Lorena P briefly attended an international exchange program at Università degli Studi di Trieste in 2004, focusing on Cross Cultural Management.
