Jess Olsen is the chairperson of Sydbank Fonden and of Sydbank Sønderjyllands Fond, positions held since 2016. Olsen previously served as Group Executive Vice President at Sydbank from 2001 to 2016 and held the title General Manager. Earlier in their career Olsen was a manager at SøFinans from 1985 to 1989 and at Aktivbanken and Topdanmark from 1990 to 1994, and served as a board member at Sydbank Leasing from 2002 to 2008. Olsen is educated at Ashridge Management College (1979–present) and Bankuddannet (1969–1972).
