Jonathan Southern

Jonathan Southern is an experienced software engineer currently working at Sydecar since January 2024. Prior to this role, Jonathan served as a full stack engineer at Sandhill Markets, where Jonathan led a significant rebranding effort from Stonks and improved data management processes. Jonathan's earlier tenure at Hightouch involved building and maintaining various application destinations, while at Workbase, Jonathan functioned as the lead frontend engineer, enhancing testing processes and user interfaces. Jonathan's experience also includes software engineering work at Acutulus, focusing on frontend development and backend optimization, as well as a role as a youth specialist at the Employment Development Department. Jonathan holds an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Diablo Valley College, earned between 2017 and 2021.
