Tim Frederick

Tim Frederick currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Engineering at Sydecar since November 2025. Prior to this role, Tim was the Chief Technology Officer at Synapse Health from August 2023 to October 2025, where Tim built a technology team to innovate the home medical equipment industry. Tim's extensive experience includes leading engineering teams at Alto Pharmacy as Senior Director of Engineering, managing driver growth and various teams at Uber as Senior Engineering Manager, and directing engineering efforts at Khoros. Tim has also held key positions at 3VR and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, contributing to product management and engineering from the early stages of startup growth. Tim holds a Master of Science in Management from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, along with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego.
