Simon Liu is a seasoned talent acquisition and recruiting professional with a diverse background in various industries. Currently serving as a Venture Partner and Talent Advisor at Syelo Ventures since August 2024, Simon focuses on connecting talent and investing in early-stage technology startups. Previously, as a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner at TikTok, Simon led hiring efforts for the TikTok Shop, an integrated e-commerce product launched in September 2023. Simon's career also includes significant roles at Facebook, where responsibilities evolved from Senior Technical Recruiter to Principal Technical Recruiter, and experience at Aerotek as a Recruiting Manager and Senior Technical Recruiter. Simon's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and a high school diploma in Material Science, Engineering & Technology from Don Bosco Technical Institute.
