Joel Philps

Joel Philps is a Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Canterbury, which they completed from 2006 to 2009. They have served in various engineering roles, including as a Mechatronics Test Engineer at Hamilton Jet from 2015 to 2016, where they conducted extensive testing and evaluation of electronic controls for waterjet units. Previously, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Tiger Energy Services, where they designed custom geothermal measurement trucks and managed field operations. Additionally, Joel has experience in consulting as a Mechanical Design Engineer and has taken on leadership roles in engineering and production settings.
