In 2005, Sygma Solutions Ltd was launched with the sole purpose of delivering world class training courses in cable location and avoidance. Our aim then, as it remains now, is to help our customers work safely, reducing cable strikes. We have strived to make a difference, and in doing so, we have built the biggest and most recognised training brand in the UK. Until now, Sygma haven’t actively sold EM cable locators, despite being acknowledged as the leading experts in the industry. We took an independent and unbiased position when it came to recommending which products to use.

“Which is the best cable locator?” 

A question often asked by our clients, but one we feel is the wrong question to ask. A better question would be;

“Which is the best cable locator for the operator and the task they are performing?”

Too often our clients - despite investing in the best training, and committing to improving competence - are supplied with equipment that is neither suitable for the application or the correct tool for the operator.

I am therefore delighted to announce the official launch of Sygma Detection Ltd.  

This brand-new business will have the full support of Sygma Solutions Ltd, and will be an independent and unbiased supplier of EML locators, from high end EML kit to Avoidance tools. The Managing Director of Sygma Detection Ltd is Steve Scales, who has 17 years of experience working for different manufacturers of EML technology. Sygma Detection will ensure the right locator for the user and the application, is supplied to our customers. This naturally, will be backed up with the right training, delivered by Sygma Solutions Ltd.

Sygma Solutions have revolutionised the training sector for the better. We ensure that operators have the right skills and competencies, to the right standards. Now it is time to ensure they have the right equipment to get the best out of these skills.
