Thorsten Schmidt is an experienced professional in quality management and compliance, currently serving as the Head of Quality & Compliance at Sykell - Einfach Mehrweg since April 2023. Prior to this role, Thorsten held the position of Global Lead Quality & Compliance at Boost Group, where responsibilities included leading quality and compliance teams, risk assessments, and evaluating product marketability within the EU. Thorsten also has extensive experience as the Head of Quality Management at HOYER Handel GmbH, overseeing compliance and market conformity for electrical products. Earlier in the career, Thorsten served as a Senior Quality Manager at Tchibo, focusing on the development of single portion machines, and held roles at TÜV SÜD Product Service and Otto (GmbH & Co KG) that further contributed to a strong foundation in quality assurance. Thorsten Schmidt holds a degree as a staatlich geprüfter Techniker in Electrotechnik/Informatik from staatliche Technikerschule.
