Michael Heap

Michael Heap has diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Michael began their career in 1989 as a Company Commander in the US Army. Michael then served as a Brigade Logistics Officer for almost a decade before transitioning to civilian roles. From 2006 to 2018, they worked as a Telecommunications Manager and SharePoint Administrator for the Illinois State Board of Elections, where they were responsible for system upgrades, integration, and maintenance. In 2018, they joined MSF&W as a SharePoint Developer, where they gained expertise in various software platforms and tools including MS SharePoint, SQL Server, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript. Currently, they are employed with SyllogisTeks as a Sharepoint Developer.

Michael Heap's education history includes earning an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Political Science and Government from Volunteer State Community College, where they studied from 1983 to 1985. Michael then pursued further education at the University of Louisville, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Occupational Education from 1987 to 1989.
