Stephanie J.

Stephanie J. has over 20 years of work experience in accounting and clerical roles. Stephanie began their career as a Clerical Aide at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in 2001. In 2005, they moved to the Dinosaur Group as an Assistant Controller, where they handled payments to vendors, maintained accounts receivable documentation, processed bank reconciliations and financial reports, and executed quarterly financial reporting. From 2014 to 2018, Stephanie worked as a Junior Accountant and Staff Accountant at OpenSky (acquired by Alibaba Group). Here, they performed cash journals daily, reviewed and imported invoices into the general ledger system, managed emails, prepared ACH payments, tracked and processed returns, and prepared month-end reconciliations. From 2018 to 2023, Stephanie worked as a Senior Accountant at MoreCommerce, a SaaS marketing technology and ecommerce marketplace company in New York City. Currently, they are a Senior Accountant at Sylva.

Stephanie J. began their educational journey in 2012, earning an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Touro University. Stephanie then continued their studies at Touro University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Finance, General. In addition, Stephanie J. has obtained two certifications from Coursera, Foundations of Digital Marketing and E-commerce.
