Sandy Foo

Sandy Foo is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in commercial and operations management across various industries, including construction and mining. Currently serving as Commercial Manager at Symal Group since July 2023, Sandy leads a Finance & Operations team managing an asset base exceeding $100M, overseeing major projects such as the North East Link. Previous roles include Commercial Lead for Assets & Logistics and Assets & Plant at Symal Group and MPC Kinetic, respectively, where Sandy successfully established finance teams, managed budgets, and implemented significant changes in financial processes. Other noteworthy positions include Project Finance Lead at UGL and Senior Site Accountant at Thiess, with a strong focus on cost management and operational financial support. Sandy holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Adelaide and is a Certified Practising Accountant through CPA Australia.
