Senior Software Engineer at Symbotic

Deepak Krishnan has a diverse work experience in software engineering and research. Deepak started their career as an intern at Infosys Limited in 2011 and then worked as a Systems Engineer and Senior Systems Engineer. During their time at Infosys, Deepak developed various modules for emergency broadcast systems, proposed social media integration solutions, and led teams in designing and developing fraud detection systems and advertising engines. Deepak also contributed to the improvement of network performance management systems and worked on designing high-performance systems centered around CDNs and social media platforms.

Deepak then joined Northeastern University as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they conducted research on the opportunities that technology presented for youth advocacy. Deepak also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Northeastern University.

In 2016, Deepak worked as a Software Engineering Co-op at Symbotic and then returned to Northeastern University as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Wellness Technology Lab. Their work included extensive field research and developing solutions for youth empowerment and expression.

Deepak joined Symbotic again in 2017 as a Software Engineering Intern and later became a Senior Software Engineer in 2018.

Deepak Krishnan completed their Master's Degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University, where they studied from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science from Amrita School of Engineering, Bangalore from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, they attended Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1995 to 2007, although the specific degree and field of study during this time are unknown.

In terms of certifications, Deepak has completed several courses on Coursera, including the Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Convolutional Neural Networks, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning. Deepak obtained these certifications from Coursera between April 2018 and August 2018.
