Jack Bergin

Jack Bergin has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jack began their career as a Cashier and Cart Collector at Stop & Shop in 2016. Jack then worked as a Junior/Senior Lacrosse Official for Cape Ann Youth Lacrosse, officiating games for grades 1 to 8.

In 2018, Jack worked as a Parking Lot Attendant at the Gloucester Department of Public Works, where they managed traffic flow and collected entrance fees at Good Harbor Beach.

Jack gained experience in engineering and technology through multiple internships at PTC. Jack worked as a Corporate Experience Engineer Intern, where they designed, tested, and presented demonstrations for clients using PTC CAD software and extended reality technologies. Jack also utilized Thingworx and Vuforia platforms to create AR and IoT experiences in the Corporate Experience Center.

At Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Jack served as a Research Assistant, assisting a group in developing a soft robotics exo-suit. Jack worked on actuation and spatial optimization using soft robotic hydro muscles.

Jack also participated in the Insight Series program at Goldman Sachs, where they improved their skills through mock interviews, resume workshops, and networking events. This experience solidified their interest in both engineering and business.

Most recently, Jack joined Symbotic as a System Test Engineer, where they are responsible for building the test framework and implementing automation and CI/CD pipelines. Jack also develops regression tests for new features and updates on robot software.

Jack Bergin completed their education at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Robotics Engineering from 2019 to 2022.
