John Berrigan is an accomplished mechanical engineer with extensive experience in robotics and imaging systems. As the Principal Mechanical Engineer at Symbotic since August 2019, John leads the design and development of robotic chassis for an automated food warehouse system featuring over five hundred robots. Previously, John held the role of Principal Mechanical Engineer at Astronics AeroSat Corporation, where responsibility included leading the design of a compact and efficient antenna meeting aerospace standards. John's experience also encompasses significant roles at ECRM Imaging Systems, where expertise in mechanical engineering contributed to the development of laser scanning imaging systems, and at iRobot, a leader in robotics. John began engineering career at QC Optics, focusing on laser scanning inspection systems for the semiconductor industry. John holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Northeastern University.
