Alex Moonin

Alex Moonin is a Senior Engineer at Symcel. Alex has previously worked as an Research and Development Engineer at Active Implants from January 2019 to May 2022, where they were responsible for the commercial approval of the first synthetic meniscus implant. Alex also supported the transition and compliance of the company to the European Medical Device Regulation (MDR). Before that, they worked as an R&D Project Manager at Breathe.me from July 2017 to January 2019, where they were responsible for FDA clearance and managing sub-contractors from various areas. Alex also wrote User Requirements and Technical Specification documents. Alex has also worked as an R&D Lab Engineer at Medimop Medical Projects Ltd. from April 2015 to July 2017 and as a Validation Engineer at Comply Ltd from September 2013 to April 2015.
