Ted Wolfe has a diverse work experience in the field of audio hardware and software development. Ted started their career as an Electronics Technician at Questar Microsystems in 1985. Ted then worked at Spectral Synthesis as the VP of Engineering, where they built the engineering department from scratch. Ted continued their career at Spectral, Inc as the VP of Technology and Chief Scientist, where they designed and developed core technology for professional digital audio products. Spectral, Inc was later sold to Euphonix, Inc, where Ted continued their role as the VP of Technology, designing and developing control software. In 2000, they joined Symetrix Inc as the Chief Technology Officer, responsible for designing and developing control software and tools for audio hardware. In 2008, Ted started their own business, TedWolfePhotography.com, as a Sole Proprietor. Ted then worked at Loud Corporation as a Consultant for the Mackie division, developing firmware for digital mixer products and Dante-connected speakers.
Ted Wolfe earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geology from Western Washington University, where they studied from 1980 to 1983. Before that, they pursued Computer Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1978 to 1980, although they did not complete a degree in that field.
