In an intellect economy, the unit of transformation is the human being.

Symmetry is a boutique advisory practice working with a small number of CEOs and executive teams each year on the hardest problem in business: turning the strategy deck into high performance results, on the ground, globally, at speed, through people who are doing the 'new things' required.

Most strategies fail not because they are wrong. They fail because the organisation cannot execute them fast enough through their talent.

They fail devolve decision making and generate enough energy, trust and accountability to survive the pressures of the market, a legacy culture and the emotions of uncertainty.

Symmetry works at the precise point where Enterprise Strategy meets human behaviour.

We help the Exec and Top 100 reframe their role and their task list and build the decision-making architecture, authority structures and leadership dynamics that allow the strategy to move from the boardroom into the daily Decisions, Actions and Results of every person in the organisation.

Our work is intensive, confidential and built around a single question:

What must the CEO and executive team do consistently, and with courage to translate the strategy into decisions and actions at pace and at scale? When we answer that together, the solutions we design may be far reaching and organisation wide.

We take on three executive team partnerships per year.

Each one is a genuine partnership — not a programme, not a framework rollout, not a consultant's report. We sit at the table, ask the hard questions and we stay until your organisation is moving.

We are founded by Jim Lawless, who brings 25 years experience in ambitious strategy execution at scale. Voted a global Top 10 keynote speaker, Jim is also a record-breaking freediver, and author of Taming Tigers.

We are not here for a long time. You get to lead an organisation for a small part of that time.

What you do matters. Let's ensure your success.
